The Week

It is the end of a quarter and what a quarter it has been.  In this week’s webinar, I reviewed my trades, where and how I made money and ended with my forward thinking of how this coming quarter is going to play out.

How Did I Do for the 3^rd Quarter 2022?

It was a rough quarter for traders.  Here’s what the SPY looked like.

There was a little of everything with very high volatility – a hard Market to predict and an even harder Market to trade.  Most of my trading success occurred over a four week period in late July and early August.  I didn’t do much trading during the last few weeks.  My overall gain was still reasonable at 64% gain for the quarter.  You can see all my trades on our website.

Looking Ahead – My Prediction for the 4^th Quarter 2022

Our old bear is looking a little confused right now as the Market is Herky Jerky – up one day and down the next.  We just broke a major support area and I believe we will see some more down before the Market finds its footing.

Looking ahead, I believe October will be more of the same with the bottom finding a support area in about three weeks as we start to go into Earnings Season. Then the November elections will throw a little hiccup into the mix.  But once a solid support forms we should experience the Santa Claus effect where the Market Price/Action smooths out and goes into a slight up trend.  I believe this will last up to the holidays.  But then watch out as the New Year approaches.  We very well could see another round of chaos as the supply chain, inflation and food storages raises their ugly heads into our consciousness again.
