The Week

Thanksgiving!  And it was a quiet week with light volume as to be expected.  I also like the extra day of Theta time decay when the Market is closed for the holiday.  

I have observed a couple of points about the current Market.  Note that the diagonal resistance is not going up as fast as the diagonal support.  It is weaker on top. We are also seeing the Price/Action starting to butt its head against the 200-day moving average.  Many times, this is a reversal area and will start a sell off.

What does that mean for future trading?  I still believe we will see the Market still go up as we approach the Christmas holiday just not as wild and crazy as before  A little money has flowed back into the Market which will sustain the upward Price/Action.  For me, it will be a good time to add profits.

Looking Ahead

A smooth ride up through the holidays.  I believe the week between Christmas and the New Year will be flat and come January, I expect the choppy up and down action will be back in our trading lives.  In the meantime, I am going to enjoy trading for the next month and celebrate the season with friends and family.

How am I Doing?

Our DATA class has been a struggle this quarter due to the crazy choppy market.  I have had a second great week of profits as the price/action has smoothed out.  After 8 weeks of our DATA class my account is up 53.4%.  It would take a Christmas miracle to hit the 100% return with just two weeks left to trade in the class sessions.  But it is the season of miracles says my little Pollyanna self!
